Who is Tommy Transit?
Tom is on a mission to make a difference in the world by how we do our daily jobs.
As a bus driver in the major metropolitan city of Vancouver, Tom noticed how disconnected and isolated people seemed to be, and he wondered if there might be something he could do.
That’s when Tom remembered one of his mentors saying, “All anyone wants is to be acknowledged for who they are and the contribution they make”.
A light bulb went off and Tom realized that as a driver he was in a unique position to affect the more than 150,000 people he was picking up on his busy bus route every year.
That’s a whole lot of people! And a HUGE opportunity!

And that's why Tommy spends his time since retiring inspiring positive change in drivers and others who work with the public.

Be Inspired
When your workers have a higher purpose, you have an inspired work force. But how do you do that?
Tommy Transit has been inspiring other operators because he's been there - literally where the rubber meets the road. He knows the challenges like no trainer or supervisor truly can.
